Advent – Let Christ be formed in you (Gal 4:19)
As we approach the season of Advent, let us begin to think about how we can use this time to reflect and pray, and to be prepared for the celebration of Christmas. A few opportunities are coming up which include scripture, prayer, reflection and action.
Let's reflect each week on Sunday's scripture readings
Together let's use this time of Advent to prepare for the feast of Christmas. These weekly reflections include times to read and reflect on scripture, respond with prayer and there will be some activities that will get you thinking and praying. |

Sycamore Advent Course
One way in which we can do this is by joining the Sycamore Advent Course. On every Sunday of Advent from 7pm, we'll focus on: our search for God in life, in prayer, how God reaches out to us in history, and through the Bible. We'll meet online, via Zoom, watch a short film and reflect together. Please bring a pen and something to write on. A warm welcome is guaranteed, can't wait to see you there! |

Kids church: Exploring Advent
The stories in the Bible are big! And they lead to many questions that help us understand who Jesus is, and his unmeasurable love for us. To help you explore the scriptures, each week some of the Catechists from the parish will created a resource to help you explore the scriptures at home. We'll share other resources and sign post you to some great websites. |
