This week's newsletter
There is always lots going on within the parish, from one off to regular opportunities to meet up mid week to pray together, to ways to share the good news with others, either through helping those in material need or Alpha.
The best place to keep up to date with what's going on is the weekly newsletter.
You are invited to all and anything that is noted in there!

Ukraine - how we can help
As the situation in Ukraine unfolds it is now becoming clearer what we can do to help bring about peace and support those affected by the unfolding war. Some of the paid diocesan team have been looking into what we can practically do, please click the link below to keep up to date.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
"This is my body" (Luke 22:19)
You are invited to come and spend time in the physical presence of Jesus. Every Friday after the 10am Mass until 14.00 there is exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in Our Lady of Sorrow's church, Bognor Regis. For those who are able, this is a wonderful ministry to come, pray for the needs of the world, and the renewal of the church.
No need to book, come at any point, for as long as you can.

Sunday Mass Schedule
Following the parish meeting with Bishop Richard on Monday 9th May, there is a letter addressed to all parishioners regarding our celebration of Mass as a parish. At this time of huge change, and challenge, let us keep each other very much in prayer, so that our celebration together of the greatest prayer may help us all ‘breathe in holiness and breathe out mission’.
Youth Café
In school years 7-13?
You are invited to Youth Café.
There's not enough space in this little box to tell you what goes on, so come and try it out and encounter Jesus through Friendship, Food, & Prayer.

We all have days when things aren’t easy, but as a parish we are here for you - everyone's health and wellbeing matters.
Please do get in touch – we’re here to help: where we can, ourselves, maybe a chat, or with resources, or we can signpost you to other groups and organisations. |
GREETINGS FROM THE PARISH PRIEST

Peace be with you! Throughout restrictions to our movements, be they national lock downs or the various tiers of restriction, the Catholic parish of Bognor & Slindon remains here in the service of those around us as we follow Jesus, and share his love with the whole world.
With legal limits on numbers removed, it is not currently necessary to book places for Mass. However, with sensitivity to the different pace at which people feel safe to return to Mass, please note: the front right area of Our Lady of Sorrows will continue as an area where places of prayer are set at 1m apart, and these spaces will need to be booked by clicking here.
