It’s easy to say “I forgive you”, but now, I truly, truly have forgiven them.
I have to say, I can’t describe it, it’s like an overwhelming love in my heart.
That's what Jesus has helped me do through Alpha.
Social Transformation
Our vision is nothing less than seeing the transformation of society, impacting the lives of those in need and seeing our area changed.
The impact to our area is achieved through our work with various projects. Our congregation get involved by offering their skills, their time and their prayers to support all we are doing together to transform society.

Our history
Church started in our area in the 7th century, yet due to the reformation in 1534 it became illegal to be a Roman Catholic. Worship in secret continued, and many were martyred for their faith. In 1829 it became legal again to be a Roman Catholic, public Catholic worship returned to the parish in 1865 when St Richard's church in Slindon was opened.
Today's church is around 1,400 people on an average Sunday spread over eight Masses on three sites. We also have a parish primary school, St Mary's and with the other parishes in the area founded St Philip Howard High School, Barnham.

Bognor & Slindon is a livesimply parish
Livesimply is an opportunity for Catholic communities to respond to the invitation in Laudato Si, to work with generosity and tenderness in protecting this world which God has entrusted to us, and is awarded to communities who can show they have been living simply, in solidarity with people in poverty, and sustainably with creation.
