Church during lock-down 3.0
Mass
Mass will continue to be celebrated everyday in the parish, you are invited and welcome to join in person or via the live stream. In England, collective worship in your local church is categorised as a legitimate reason to leave your home. For more information please click here.
Especially as Catholics, receiving the Eucharist is a key part in our discipleship. Nonetheless during the current COVID-19 pandemic, Catholics are not obliged to worship at the celebration of the Mass in person, you can choose how you worship (either from home or in the church building).
If you are planning on attending Mass in person you must pre book your seat online or via telephone by calling the parish office.
Spaces within our church buildings are currently restricted owing to social distancing. When in the church building please sanitise your hands when you come in, please wear a face covering (unless exempt), and please only sit where there is an indicator saying ‘Welcome to pray here’.
Mass is live streamed everyday at 10am from the church of Our Lady of Sorrows, Bognor Regis.
