Unpacking Sunday's Scripture readings
with your children
The stories in the Bible are big! And lead to so many questions that help us understand who Jesus is, and his unmeasurable love for us. To help you explore the scriptures, each week some of the Catechists from the parish will create a resource to help you explore the scriptures at home.
Below you'll also find links to a range of places where you can find inspiration to share the good news of Jesus with your children.

Make and learn this Advent. How to create your very own Jesse Tree.
Making a decorated Jesse tree is a wonderful way for families to explore the season of Advent and the people, prophesies, and events leading up to the birth of Jesus at Christmas. The Jesse tree represents Jesus' family tree. The name is taken from Isaiah 11:1, in which Jesus is referred to as a shoot coming up from the stump of Jesse, the father of King David. |
