Children’s Liturgy Children’s Liturgy runs in the Parish centre every Sunday in term time at 11am mass. It is primarily for 4–8-year-old children but older children may attend at the discretion of the catechists present. Pre-school children should be accompanied by a parent. A NEW registration form needs to be filled in for each child at the beginning of the school year in September. These forms are available in the church and on the parish website and should be returned to the parish office, ideally before the first session on 13th September. If registration has not been completed, then a parent needs to attend with your child/children.
We START the liturgy in the Parish Centre and RETURN to Church for the Offertory.
Parents are required to bring their children directly over to the Parish Centre (before the start of mass) from 10.45am; you need to inform the registering catechist before leaving your children, so their attendance is noted, to ensure their safety. Please remember to inform your children where you will be sitting in the Church, so they can find you when they return.
Please note that places may be limited if there are not enough adults available to lead the sessions. Parents who attend are only responsible for their own children. If you are interested in helping with Children’s Liturgy please speak to Annette Moyart who can be contacted via the parish office.
