On Shrove Tuesday, February 16th, we will have a parish party to say thank you to all the many parishioners who help out in the work of the parish. As I said two years ago, there are so many people in each of our four churches that it would be impossible to draw up a list of people to invite without leaving someone off the list, and so I hope you will all accept this letter as an invitation. Whatever you do is deeply appreciated, and I hope that you will join us in the Parish Centre on the eve of Lent for a party with refreshments. We will start at 7.30.
If you would like to come but need transport, please let the office know as soon as you can so that we can try to arrange transport for you. I look forward to this opportunity for us to relax together, and to being able to show our appreciation for all that is done here so generously, and by so many.
